An owner of an apartment building in Thailand shot dead his roofer after not liking the look.
Bang Sao Thong Police Station responded to the incident at Soi Thai Prakan, 2/1. The shooting occurred in Bang Sao Thong District of Samut Prakarn. Police found one dead man and a second injured.
Somporn Sengartit (54 years) was found lying dead on the ground outside of the Pool Hall. Prakorb Sitadee (53) had been taken into hospital for a right leg gunshot.
Somporn had been shot three times in the back, his left leg and right eye. The officers discovered four bullet casings close to his body.
Akkaraphon, 56 years old, was identified by the police after they reviewed the surveillance footage of the billiards hall. Akkaraphon wearing shorts and white tank top was seen exiting his condo.
Akkaraphon, Somporn and their argument lasted for quite some time. Then the gun was pulled by the first and he shot Somporn. Akkaraphon fled the scene. He went to the condo to retrieve the keys to the pickup truck and then drove away.
Akkaraphon’s condo is located across the road from the swimming pool, witnesses told the police. Somporn, who used to work for Akkaraphon until he left to set up his own company in construction, was Akkaraphon’s employee.
Akkaraphon hired Somporn more than once to renovate its condo, but after the renovation of the property’s roof, an argument ensued. Akkaraphon was upset with Somporn because he did not follow his instructions when building the roof. This led to a physical confrontation. Somporn stated that he followed the instructions of Akkaraphon’s widow.
Akkaraphon then continued to argue, leading them into a shooting. Akkaraphon’s aggressive behavior was noted by several witnesses. They also said that he would shoot into the sky when agitated.
Akkaraphon now runs for his life.
Samut Prakarn, as well as the provinces surrounding it, reported officers keeping watch on his bronze pickup. Not yet revealed is the registration and make number of this vehicle.
