In less than 24 hour, Fernando Buesa’s memory is attacked again. The grave of the PSE leader who was murdered by ETA on Friday appeared to be stained with black and feces. This attack came after the black paint was painted on the monolith commemorating Buesa, his bodyguard Jorge Diez Elorza and the spot where they were killed by ETA at Vitoria in February 2000.
The Fernando Buesa Foundation filed complaints at the Vitoria Municipal Police, who are investigating these events as hate crimes.
Political groups tried to make an institution declaration condemning the EH Bildu, but this was not possible as EH Bildu did not join.
